Hazbin Hotel's Creator Is Aware of Your Second Season Bingo Cards — With Some Good News

The highly-awaited second season of the adult animated musical series Hazbin Hotel debuts on the streaming platform soon, and fan speculation has been widespread.

Season 1 presents a diverse group of characters residing in the afterlife, pits them against each other with songs about their clashes, and builds tense rivalries and emotional bonds that drive fan obsession.

The community's expectations for season 2 differ greatly, but certain threads emerge over and over: Could Angel Dust escape his tormentor? Will we find out more about the binding agreement constraining Alastor the Radio Demon? Will [favorite character] and [other character] finally get together?

"Naturally, I don't produce the show with fan service as the main goal," the creator commented recently. "But I believe that me being a devotee of the series implies there's a lot of it just naturally. I also want to see these things, and I hope some of these things to happen, and clearly some of these things are meant to happen in the show!"

The creator reveals her big-picture plan is for five seasons of Hazbin Hotel. Future installments have already been green-lit by the production companies, which produce the series.

That could imply fans have to be patient for some of the major resolutions — but they could be shocked at how quickly the new season moves, and how much of what they're anticipating happens this season.

"I feel like people are going to be highly satisfied," the creator notes. "We get some firsts. I think we receive some incredible disclosures, some fascinating origin tales, and even basic elements, [like] I hope this character gets a song. […] We're going to hear additional musical numbers from the characters we didn't get to hear before."

She's certainly aware of the theories and desires about the upcoming season — especially in the form of audience prediction charts.

"I've come across a few fans create a bingo card about season 2," she mentions. "Naturally I can't post it, but I've already completed some of them, and nearly every one of them have almost a bingo. I was like, Oh, if you put this [event] in this spot, it would be a bingo. So that makes me think we do a lot [of what fans are waiting for in this season], because I was like, Oh, there's multiple potential bingos on this card. So that makes me happy."

Hazbin Hotel the second season launches on Prime Video on Oct. 29.
